Every adoption from Pawsitive Difference includes a Basic manners class for all dogs.

Why do we include training classes with our adoptions?

 

Dogs Training is not just about teaching a dog to sit or do tricks. It helps them build trust, feel secure, and develop the social skills they need to thrive in their new home.

Whether they are overcoming fear, learning how to interact with people and other animals, or simply adjusting to life in a new home, training ensures that both the dog and the adopter are set up for success, creating a harmonious relationship built on trust and understanding.

Investing time in training your rescue dog can have long-lasting benefits. Not only does it help the dog adapt more quickly to their new environment, but it also strengthens the bond between owner and  pet. Trained dogs are often happier, healthier, and more confident, which leads to a more fulfilling and joyful companionship.

 

Can I take the class if I didn't adopt from Pawsitive Difference?

Yes, this class is open to all dogs. We just ask that you make a minimum $125 donation towards our program.

Your dog must be spayed or neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

We’d love to see you at our next basic manners class...

Submit one form per dog, if you would like multiple dogs to attend class. Please note, you must have at least one handler per dog, but the whole family is welcome to join in! Also, even after graduation, you will be able to continue to attend classes as needed for refreshers or some extra help!
